Emphasis on local blooms and foraged florals

In my process, I use locally sourced blooms and greenery from small farms and my foraging adventures as often as possible to achieve the wild, free-flowing look that I am known for. Depending on season and style of floral designs, I will supplement with florals from other wholesale sources. Because of this non-traditional process and by not using formulated arrangements, I create florals that aren't something that can be replicated easily and will be individual to that wedding. I like to think of it as a sort of time stamp of your wedding day by using the flowers that were growing and blooming that week of your wedding. Also by using local flowers of that season, you will get the freshest best looking florals.

Process

As a floral designer, I tend to go about things a little bit differently than the traditional methods. I've always found that as an artist I work best when I am given a vision to work as the parameter, but with room for artistic freedom to work within that. Usually I have the couple give me a color palette and vision board (usually Pinterest). And I create their wedding flowers to compliment the vision with a creative Fire and Blooms twist on the ideas. We can dream as big as you want, I’m always up for a challenge!
